Call for anaesthetic input in to Lancet Commission Questionnaire

The Lancet is a leading peer-reviewed UK-based medical journal that is committed to global health.

The journal regularly demonstrates this focus through the formation of Commissions, guided by a multidisciplinary team of experts (commissioners) from around the world, on global health topics.

One of these Commissions, The Lancet Commission on Global Surgery, is working to advance safe, accessible surgery and anaesthesia as a public health measure, with a particular focus in low- and middle-income countries. The commissioners would like to hear as many perspectives as possible to inform their recommendations.

In order to do this, the commissioners invite all providers to complete the following questionnaire, and to share it with colleagues, surgical and anaesthesia colleges, and any other organisational bodies that might be able to distribute it further.
