2014 - Round 1
On Monday 30 June 2014, the NIAA Grants Committee met to consider the first round of applications for 2014 on behalf of The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI) & Anaesthesia, The Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (APAGBI), The British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) & The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), The British Society of Orthopaedic Anaesthetists (BSOA), the Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association (OAA) and the Vascular Anaesthesia Society of Great Britain & Ireland (VASGBI).
We considered 36 applications over 7 categories for a requested sum of £1,341,210.48 and made a total of 7 awards over 4 categories to a value of £206,143. Success rate: 19%.
