NELA's HQIP Quality Improvement Award - Our Thanks To All Participants!
Following the HQIP Quality Improvement Award for 'Partnership Working with Professional Stakeholders' being awarded to the National Emergency Laparotomy Audit, we would like to thank all local hospital staff who have worked tirelessly on both the Organisational and Patient Audits. Without your incredible hard work and commitment to NELA we would never have been able to reach this point.
We were delighted to be joined on the night of the awards ceremony by Dr Andrew Hutchinson of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, representing the critical role hospital staff have played in NELA. Dr Hutchinson can be seen on the far right in the photo above of the NELA team accepting the award from the evening's presenter, healthcare broadcaster Vivienne Parry OBE.
