Pathway Examples
Below you can find and download examples of Emergency Care Pathway and other supporting documents that have been provided to NELA by participating sites.
Part of the remit of NELA is to facilitate improvement in the delivery of care for patients undergoing an emergency laparotomy through the dissemination of good practice.
Other hospitals are invited to adapt these pathways for their own purposes. NELA is unable to comment on the efficacy of these documents, as they are provided for information only. Hospitals should monitor the implementation of these pathways in their own hospital to ensure they achieve the desired effects.
Each Pathway is credited to the trust that has provided the information to us.
